Our committees were created by the Board of Directors (BOD) to engage in activities that are directly related to the Association’s mission and purpose. Each of our eight committees has a representative on the BOD who acts as a conduit between the Board and the respective committee. (Please note: The International Affairs Committee is being relaunched in 2021/22 and currently does not have representation on the Board.)
While some of the committees are operational, such as the Finance and Executive Committees, others are eager to welcome volunteers from our membership. Committees currently focus on issues related to social work students, field education, social policy and advocacy, international affairs, Francophone social work in minority contexts, and more.
