The Board is responsible for the financial stewardship of the Association. The Board approves the policies and procedures for financial planning and approves the Association’s financial statements. In addition, the Board reviews and approves a draft budget for approval by members at the AGM. As part of the financial stewardship, the Board is responsible for establishing investment policies and monitoring the Association’s financial status. In order to support these responsibilities the Board has established a finance committee to maintain an overview of the financial and administrative affairs of CASWE-ACFTS. The committee does not deal with day-to-day financial administration as this is the responsibility of the Executive Director.
Members of the Finance Committee are the Treasurer, Stéphane Grenier, the Executive Director, Alexandra Wright, the Bookkeeper, Beverley Boyd and the Accountant, Caroline Brabyn.
