{"id":35175,"date":"2021-01-27T10:37:29","date_gmt":"2021-01-27T15:37:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/caswe-acfts.ca\/?p=35175"},"modified":"2021-06-16T08:53:41","modified_gmt":"2021-06-16T12:53:41","slug":"statement-on-the-continued-critical-role-of-field-education-in-social-work-education-updated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/caswe-acfts.ca\/fr\/statement-on-the-continued-critical-role-of-field-education-in-social-work-education-updated\/","title":{"rendered":"D\u00e9claration sur le r\u00f4le essentiel de la formation pratique dans la formation en travail social-  Mise \u00e0 jour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>le 27 janvier 2021 &#8211;<\/strong>Le contexte d\u2019incertitude pour les \u00c9coles de travail social au Canada se poursuivant en raison de la pand\u00e9mie mondiale de la COVID-19, le conseil d\u2019administration de la CASWE-ACFTS \u00e9met la d\u00e9claration suivante&nbsp;:<\/p>\n<p>Le CA de la CASWE-ACFTS reconna\u00eet les impacts importants et continus de la COVID-19 sur la formation pratique et affirme \u00e0 nouveau le r\u00f4le essentiel du personnel responsable de la formation pratique dans le maintien de l\u2019int\u00e9grit\u00e9, de la rigueur et de la r\u00e9ussite en mati\u00e8re de formation en travail social au Canada, en formant des travailleuses sociales et des travailleurs sociaux comp\u00e9tents. Au d\u00e9but de la pand\u00e9mie en mars 2020, nul ne se serait dout\u00e9 que cette \u00ab&nbsp;crise&nbsp;\u00bb impliquerait un travail intense de longue dur\u00e9e pour les coordonnateurs(rices) de stage au Canada. Nous reconnaissons l\u2019impact que cette situation a sur les \u00e9quipes responsables de la formation pratique \u00e0 travers le pays, alors qu\u2019elles font preuve de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 pour assurer des stages de qualit\u00e9 dans un tel contexte. Ces demandes extraordinaires n\u00e9cessitent le soutien financier et structurel pour maintenir ce travail \u00e0 long terme. Nous encourageons les \u00c9coles de travail social au Canada \u00e0 envisager d\u2019offrir un soutien tangible aux \u00e9quipes responsables de la formation pratique. Par exemple, les coordonnateurs(rices) de stage qui ont une charge d\u2019enseignement peuvent avoir besoin d\u2019un d\u00e9gr\u00e8vement. Pour certains, l\u2019embauche de personnel suppl\u00e9mentaire pour aider \u00e0 identifier, recruter et approuver les nouveaux lieux de stage potentiels serait bienvenu durant la crise actuelle. Ces mesures seraient temporaires et permettraient de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 une situation extraordinaire, unique et changeante.<\/p>\n<p>Nous reconnaissons que les universit\u00e9s font pr\u00e9sentement face \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis \u00e9conomiques, mais encourageons chaque \u00c9cole \u00e0 se demander comment elle peut soutenir son personnel responsable de la formation pratique. De plus, puisque plusieurs \u00c9coles en sont pr\u00e9sentement \u00e0 planifier les stages pour l\u2019automne 2021\/2022, le conseil d\u2019administration affirme \u00e0 nouveau que les \u00c9coles, \u00e0 leur discr\u00e9tion, peuvent utiliser une r\u00e9duction des heures de stage et ce jusqu\u2019en avril 2022. Toutefois, lorsque possible, le conseil d\u2019administration encourage \u00e0 ce que le nombre d\u2019heures habituel soit maintenu. Cette discr\u00e9tion offerte aux \u00c9coles permet de reconna\u00eetre les impacts intersectionnels de la COVID-19 sur les diff\u00e9rentes communaut\u00e9s \u00e0 travers le Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Nous remercions les membres du groupe de travail sur la formation pratique dans le contexte de la COVID-19&nbsp;: Suzanne Lacelle et Janice Chaplin (repr\u00e9sentantes du CA); Grant Charles et Ginette Berteau (repr\u00e9sentants de la COA); Sarah Todd (Doyens(nes) et Directeurs(rices)); Natalie Clark (Thunderbird Circle -RFATS); Holly Bradley (repr\u00e9sentante du comit\u00e9 des stages).
