Research

  •  The Carleton University Institute on the Ethics of Research with Indigenous Peoples is now in its third year and offers an excellent opportunity for faculty members as well as graduate and senior undergraduate students to learn about discuss ethical research with Indigenous peoples and to engage in simulation research exercises based on Indigenous issues. This year the institute’s theme is focused on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and  the ethical use of data that will eventually be available through the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation: CUIERIP 17.

 

  • Exploring Perspectives of Faculty and Field Staff on Signature Pedagogy in Social Work Education: Beth Archer-Kuhn, Liz Schweizer, Faaria Meghji and Devin Allen are conducting research about signature pedagogy in social work education. You are invited to participate in this mixed methods research project.
