The mission of the Student Committee is to enhance educational experiences within CASWE-ACFTS accredited schools of social work across Canada. The goal of this committee is to promote student involvement in relevant activities of CASWE-ACFTS and thereby participate in the development of social work knowledge and practice to prepare students for competent, ethical practice. The Student Committee identifies interests, needs and concerns of the student population at the Annual General Meeting of the CASWE-ACFTS as well as having a representative on the Board of Directors. The Student Committee recognizes and advocates for the needs and concerns of the students enrolled in CASWE-ACFTS accredited schools of social work in Canada.
