Description
The purpose of this event is to honour the voices of Black women/non-binary folks in social work. The event will highlight how they navigate anti-Black racism in the classroom, during practicum, and their social work practice, as well as how to foster self-preservation and their wellbeing.
This event will also be an opportunity to recognize Social Work Month and International Women’s Day as we would like to center the voices of members of the social work community who identify as women or non binary, whether they are students, Faculty members, involved in Field or any other aspects of social work education.
When: March 24, 2022 06:00 PM in Eastern Time (US and Canada)
