March 20, 2020 – Thank you for your patience as we work through the many details and questions surrounding our upcoming Conference. As you know, our Conference is planned in conjunction with Congress 2020, a larger event planned by the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, which was to be held at Western University. Yesterday, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the Federation announced its decision to move its in-person gathering to a virtual event.

The CASWE-ACFTS Board of Directors is considering alternate plans for the Association’s Conference. This includes the possibility of postponing the conference, moving to a virtual conference platform, or cancelling the event. The Board of Directors will make a decision shortly.
