September, 2017. At the Annual General Meeting on May 31, 2017 the Board of Directors (BOD) identified the importance of supporting and engaging with the Quebec schools of social work. As part of this commitment, Association President, Susan Cadell, and  Executive Director, Alexandra Wright, visited four Quebec schools during the week of September 24-29 with more visits planned for November.

During these visits, the President and the Executive Director had the opportunity to meet with faculty members, field coordinators, students and administrators. The goal was to encourage participation in the annual conference and involvement in the work and activities of various constituency groups, such as the Association’s journal, committees and caucuses. Dr. Cadell and Dr. Wright say there are grateful to those who have taken the time to welcome them so far. As the visits are ongoing, the BOD will be given progress reports and reporting on other visits as they occur.
